MAIA encourages students to participate in graduate study abroad opportunities.  While this is not a program requirement, the experience will not only promote a more well-rounded international education, but also a deeper multicultural understanding and strong global perspective which complements the MAIA curriculum.  The University of Miami’s International Education & Exchange Programs Department provides several graduate study abroad options.

To get started please visit the Study Abroad homepage. If you have any additional questions or need assistance with your application please contact them directly.

All study abroad courses must be approved by your adviser at the MAIA Office prior to registering.
Please speak to your MAIA Program Adviser for more details.
